Hydroponics Growing Guide

If I could only reccomend one hydroponics book then this would have to be it.  Seriously it is in my opinion the holy grail of hydroponics growing guides.  You will not find a book with more targeted and how to information on hydroponics then this one.

Hydroponics: A Practical Guide for the Soilless Grower clearly explains the basics of plant growth and development, the different methods of preparing and using hydroponic nutrient solutions, and hydroponic options for various environmental conditions.

Gives the reader instructions for simple experiments and a number of helpful charts, tables and illustrations. Completely up-to-date, the book also describes, in detail, all the latest techniques for hydroponic growing.

It addresses new challenges in the field such as growing food for astronauts, practicing hydroponics in inhospitable environments and updating nutrient element supplies for the demands of the next century.

It's an ideal guide for anyone interested in plants and how they grow.

This book will cover many different topics and guides but here is a short list.
  1. Provide a complete hydroponic reference from casual hobbyists and students to commercial growers and professional plant researchers.
  2. Gives detailed descriptions of the most commonly used hydroponic growing procedures
  3. Provides clear explanations of the advantages and disadvantages of each hydroponic growth system
  4. Describes the basic concepts of plant growth and development Lists numerous solution formulas and ways these solutions can be used and monitored
  5. Outlines experiments that can be used by students, hobbyists and anyone else interested to successfully grow plants hydroponically
I still find myself opening the book up everytime I start a crop to make sure that I am doing everything spot on.
This is a very valuable book and I would say that anyone interested in hydroponics needs to have this in their list of books.
